Welcome!

Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by.  I have been approached and messaged quite a few times over the past few months about sharing my projects.  Well, you're in luck!  I have finally broken down and created a blog to share my works in progress.

For those who know me well, know that I love working on a variety of different crafty projects ranging from scrapbooking to sewing to crocheting.  Crafts are a great way for me to unwind and relax.  It's the perfect therapy!  Not only that, it also allows time for me to spend time with my little one and share in our artistic creativity.

My most recent project was a 3 layer rag quilt made from cozy flannel material. Each of the squares were cut at 7 inches.  This is considered a "throw" size.  It measures at approximately 54" X 60" due to the actual square size being 6" (allowing for 1/2"rag seam on each square).

I look like a Creeper holding this quilt up....lol
Feel free to drop me a note if you have any questions

God Bless & Happy Crafting!

Family Christmas Shirts

I have been busy working on several projects and haven't posted in quite some time.  With more and more interest expressed in many of my ongoing sewing projects, I will be posting some of my completed projects. My most recent completed projects were for Christmas.  I made several family Christmas shirts for friends and family in order for them to take family photos with coordinating prints. These shirts were made from fabric purchased from So Sew English Fabrics.  Patterns used were Slim Fit Raglans for the adults and Naptime Creations for the children. http://sosewenglishfabrics.com/ http://www.patternsforpirates.com/product/slim-fit-raglan/ https://lifesewsavory.com/free-raglan-shirt-pattern-kids/ These shirts were made from fabric purchased from So Sew English Fabrics.  Patterns used were from CKC Patterns - Couture Made Simple for these mommy and me jersey style shirts.  (Please excuse the lighting on these-they were taken from my phone.)
